Lawmakers Press Biden for Tougher Sanctions on Russian Oil Ties

Following Russia's invasion of Ukraine in 2022, Western nations have implemented sanctions aimed at undermining Moscow's energy profits. Despite this, SLB has reportedly expanded its Russian ventures, drawing criticism from lawmakers who believe the firm's activities bolster Russian oil production.
In a letter to key officials, the lawmakers emphasized the need for enhanced sanctions to curb Russian President Vladimir Putin's funding capabilities for the ongoing conflict in Ukraine.
