Union Agriculture Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has condemned the recent terror attack in Gagangeer, labeling it as a 'cowardly' act. Chouhan vowed that India is committed to delivering a strong response to the perpetrators.

Chouhan's remarks were echoed by National Conference President Farooq Abdullah, who emphasized the need for Pakistan to cease its support for terrorism if it wishes for better relations with India. 'If they want good relations with India, they need to put an end to terror,' Abdullah asserted in Srinagar.

The attack tragically claimed the lives of a doctor and six construction workers. Security forces have launched a rigorous search operation in the affected areas, including Gagangeer, Sonamarg, and Ganderbal, to apprehend those responsible.
