The Finance Ministry is seeking expenditure proposals for supplementary grants from different ministries and departments ahead of the Parliament's winter session.
This request is in preparation for the first batch of supplementary demands for grants for 2024-25, which will be presented to Parliament in the upcoming session.
Meetings to finalize the Revised Estimate for 2024-25 and the Budget Estimate for 2025-26 are underway, concluding on November 11. Submissions are expected by November 6 for some ministries, and by November 15 for others.
