In a unified voice of condemnation, prominent political figures responded to the Ganderbal terror attack in Jammu and Kashmir, which claimed the lives of six construction workers and a doctor. Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge asserted that such acts of targeted violence will not dampen India's resolve to carry forward crucial infrastructure projects in the region.

Security forces have intensified efforts to secure the area, initiating a search operation in Gagangir, Sonamarg, to apprehend the culprits responsible for the heinous act. On Sunday, a senior officer led a National Investigation Agency team to the site, as authorities pledged to bring those accountable to justice.

Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha and other leaders, including Union Minister Nitin Gadkari and Chief Minister Omar Abdullah, expressed their condolences, vowing that those behind the despicable attack will face the consequences. The sentiment echoed across party lines, with leaders urging unity in combating terrorism.
