In the aftermath of the recent swearing-in ceremony, Haryana's Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini has successfully retained control over critical departments. These include home, finance, excise and taxation, among others, as cabinet portfolios were allocated to the Council of Ministers on Sunday.
Among the noteworthy ministerial assignments, Anil Vij has taken charge of Energy, Transport, and Labour, while Minister Shruti Choudhry will oversee Women & Child Development alongside Irrigation & Water Resources. This marks Saini's second term as Chief Minister under the Bharatiya Janata Party's leadership.
The oath of office was administered by Haryana Governor Bandaru Dattatreya at a formal ceremony in Panchkula. Saini expressed his commitment to serving Haryana's citizens, aspiring to achieve prosperity and self-reliance, underlining the government's dedication to service and good governance.
