In a heated exchange over Delhi's escalating air quality crisis, BJP Delhi unit chief Virendraa Sachdeva accused the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) of failing its citizens. Sachdeva claimed that a significant portion of the capital's populace struggles with respiratory issues due to the current administration's incompetence.

Speaking to media, Sachdeva criticized AAP's leadership, questioning the efforts of national convenor Arvind Kejriwal, Chief Minister Atishi, and Environment Minister Gopal Rai. He argued that despite significant investments like the Rs 20 crore smog tower, pollution control remains ineffective. Sachdeva attributed the persisting dust pollution to the city's neglected infrastructure.

Responding to BJP's allegations, AAP officials underscored their ongoing anti-pollution strategies. CM Atishi and Minister Gopal Rai conducted inspections in high-pollution areas like Anand Vihar, citing external contributors such as buses from Uttar Pradesh. The AAP leaders are in discussions with the UP government to mitigate these impacts, while also addressing pollution concerns in the Yamuna River.
