In a spirited plea to voters in the Dera Baba Nanak constituency, AAP's national convener, Arvind Kejriwal, framed the upcoming bypoll as a clash between honesty and deceit. He vouched emphatically for AAP's candidate, Gurdeep Singh Randhawa, portraying him as the archetype of integrity.
Kejriwal characterized Jatinder Kaur Randhawa of Congress and Ravikaran Singh Kahlon of BJP as rivals to Gurdeep, but particularly targeted Sukhjinder Singh Randhawa, Jatinder's husband and former occupier of the seat. He accused Sukhjinder of prioritizing personal gains over public welfare, labeling him as 'dishonest'.
Promising development initiatives such as a biogas plant and a sugarmill, Kejriwal assured voters of adequate funding under AAP leadership. He urged the electorate to support a candidate aligned with the ruling party to ensure that their concerns are addressed and progress is achieved.
