Prime Minister Narendra Modi virtually inaugurated the Maa Mahamaya Airport in Darima, Chhattisgarh, marking a transformative moment for regional connectivity. The new airport aims to significantly improve access to major cities for residents of Surguja and nearby areas such as Jashpur and Balrampur, providing an economical and time-saving travel alternative.

The inaugural event, which featured Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai, Governor Ramen Deka, and Union Minister of Civil Aviation Ram Mohan Naidu, represents a significant step in integrating tribal communities into mainstream development.
