In a landmark event for Jammu and Kashmir, Chief Minister Omar Abdullah joined the region's first-ever International Marathon on Sunday, successfully completing a 21 km run. Earlier today, the J&K Chief Minister officially flagged off the marathon from Polo Stadium, with Bollywood celebrity Suniel Shetty in attendance. This significant event not only celebrates sports but also underscores Kashmir's breathtaking scenery, vital for promoting regional tourism.

Commenting on the event's influence, Shetty remarked, "An event like this sends a global message as participants from around the world gather here. It's significant...with J&K being a paradise for all."
