The second edition of the Tribal Art Exhibition, held at the India Habitat Centre, New Delhi, aims to celebrate the enduring relationship between tribal communities and nature. Organized by the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change, and other notable bodies, the event highlights the conservation ethos integral to tribal culture.

The exhibition offers tribal artists a direct platform to engage with visitors, promoting cultural appreciation and sustainability. Divya Singh, an art consultant, expressed the initiative's origins during festive times, such as Diwali, when the Ministry collaborated with the Sankala Foundation to support tribal artists from across the country.

The four-day event, endorsed by ministers like Dr. S. Jaishankar and Bhupender Yadav, focuses on eliminating middlemen, ensuring artists receive all proceeds directly. Artists express excitement over the exposure and sales, which include over 30% of artwork sold within the first two days, fostering future participation while showcasing diverse regional cultures.
