Madhya Pradesh CM Celebrates Mahanavami with Traditional Kanya Pujan

Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav participated in Kanya Pujan and Kanya Bhoj at his official residence in Bhopal on the occasion of Shardiya Mahanavami. The event saw the Chief Minister washing the feet of nine young girls, symbolizing the nine forms of Goddess Durga, as part of the traditional rituals.

He personally served food to the girls and offered them sweets according to their preferences, following the pujan. Additionally, CM Yadav interacted with the children, offering them gifts and seeking their blessings.

In a message to the masses, CM Yadav extended Mahanavami greetings to the entire state, expressing hopes for prosperity and happiness. On X, he revealed, "I worshipped girls at my residence, acknowledging them as embodiments of Shakti on this auspicious day." Kanya Pujan during Navratri involves worshipping young girls aged 2 to 10, symbolizing Goddess Durga, and is observed by many for blessings.
