NBCC Secures Major Contracts for Solar and Sports Infrastructure

State-owned NBCC has clinched a significant Rs 198 crore contract to supply and install a rooftop solar system at the SAIL steel plant in Bokaro, Jharkhand. This marks a substantial advancement in renewable energy initiatives by prominent Indian enterprises.

In an official regulatory filing on Wednesday, NBCC announced its successful acquisition of the contract from SAIL Bokaro Steel Plant. The contract involves the meticulous design, supply, and installation of the rooftop solar system, underlining the firm's prowess in project execution.

In addition to this, NBCC secured another contract worth Rs 50 crore for constructing a state-of-the-art sports complex in Odisha.
