In Surajpur district, the 'Sampoornata Abhiyan' is making a notable impact on the Pando tribe, classified as a Particularly Vulnerable Tribal Group (PVTG). This campaign enables access to vital government schemes directly within their village, guided by Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai's directives.

Officials from various departments gather every Wednesday in Madanpur village to address issues like revenue cases, Aadhaar updates, and Ayushman card issuance. Additional focus is placed on educating the tribal population about vaccinations, sickle cell anaemia, TB tests, and government programs for better health and wellness.

Residents, including Anita Rathiya and Phoolsundari Pando, highlight the camp's benefits, such as medical tests and document accessibility without traveling to district headquarters. Collector Rohit Vyas underscores the program's roots in Pradhan Mantri Janman Yojana, aiming to reach the Pando tribe across Surajpur's six blocks.

Surveys identified gaps in scheme access, prompting these camps. Around 20,000 families have already benefited, with aims to saturate 12 key social sector indicators in aspirational blocks, driven by NITI Aayog's vision for transformative change and sustainable development goals. (ANI)
