In a chilling development, Delhi's Dwarka Court has begun examining evidence in the high-profile murder case of Nikki Yadav. The young woman's father provided pivotal testimony indicating that police recovered a marriage certificate from her flat, suggesting she was legally bound to her alleged murderer, Sahil Gehlot.

Nikki Yadav was allegedly slain by Sahil in February 2023. Her lifeless body was discovered in a refrigerator at a dhaba in Mitraun village, sparking outrage and an exhaustive investigation by the Delhi Police Crime Branch. Sahil, along with five others including his father, face serious charges over the alleged cold-blooded murder.

During court proceedings, Nikki's father testified about the suspicious circumstances leading up to her death, recounting how she had informed Sahil of their 2020 marriage prior to his family-arranged wedding. Despite evidence of deceit and conspiracy, the trial continues with cross-examination scheduled for November 16, as both the public and legal fraternity seek justice for Nikki Yadav.
