Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) Working President and MLA Kalvakuntla Taraka Rama Rao (KTR) has raised accusations against the Congress-led Telangana government for disrupting festive celebrations with recent demolition activities. Speaking at an event where Congress senior leader Mohammed Alauddin Patel and many followers from Serilingampally defected to BRS, KTR lashed out at Congress's governance, lamenting the diminished festive atmosphere.

KTR criticized the Congress for not fulfilling their promises, such as financial aid for women and a loan waiver. He pointed to an increased climate of fear due to the government's demolition tactics, drawing parallels with Uttar Pradesh's reputation for bulldozer politics. During his remarks, he accused the Congress of neglecting public trust and recalled KCR's governance, which he claimed was more beneficial to citizens.

The BRS leader further accused the Congress government of communal opportunism, citing incidents of unrest. By stressing on BRS's dedication to secular values and minority welfare, KTR promised to expose Congress's agenda. Partnering with former Home Minister Mahmood Ali, he highlighted achievements under KCR's regime neglected by the current government.
