An unexplained incident has raised alarms at Madhya Pradesh's Gwalior district after a goods train driver discovered a square iron angle placed on a railway track near Birla Nagar Railway station. The early morning sighting led to swift action as railway and police officials were alerted to the potential threat.

According to MP Thakkar, the officer in charge of the Government Railway Police (GRP) station in Gwalior, the initial discovery was made on October 8 at 4:30 AM, when the Deputy Station Manager at Gwalior Railway Station informed the GRP Police Station via memo. The driver's report detailed the precarious position of the iron angle on the track as the slow-moving train approached.

A case targeting an unidentified individual has been registered under applicable sections of the Railway Act. Authorities, including railway officials, employees, and RPF staff, have flocked to the scene as the search for the perpetrator intensifies. The sinister placement of the iron angle remains unexplained, demanding urgent resolution.
