An early morning fire erupted at the Royal World complex situated on Sansar Chandra Road. The blaze affected the fourth and fifth floors of the five-storey building. Devendra Meena, Fire Officer of Nagar Nigam Heritage, confirmed the incident.

The fire, caused by a short circuit, luckily occurred when the building was unoccupied, preventing potential casualties. Each floor hosts approximately ten offices, making the swift action by rescue teams crucial to mitigating further damage. The complex had been issued prior warnings, emphasizing the importance of fire safety measures.

In response to the incident, authorities closed roads from Government Hostel to Chandpole and cut the electricity as a precaution. As firefighting efforts continue, more details are anticipated.
