In a dramatic political face-off in Haryana, Congress claimed a significant win with former wrestler Vinesh Phogat's victory in the Julana Assembly constituency. Chief Minister of Himachal Pradesh, Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu, noted a pattern similar to prior Himachal Pradesh elections, foreseeing Congress's ultimate triumph despite initial narrow margins.

Countering the Congress's optimism, Union Minister Giriraj Singh insisted that the results underscored Prime Minister Narendra Modi's formidable influence, dismissing Rahul Gandhi's appeal. Singh highlighted BJP's successes across various regions, asserting that the public's trust lies firmly with Modi and the BJP, as evidenced by the defeat of Congress in J&K.

Vinesh Phogat, buoyed by support from fellow wrestler and Congress leader Bajrang Punia, secured her win by a margin of 5761 votes. As Congress wrestles with the reality of a potential BJP hat-trick in Haryana, it raises concerns regarding alleged discrepancies in vote count data as reported by the Election Commission of India.
