Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu announced on Tuesday that the Rayalaseema region will be developed into a green energy hub. He emphasized that the generation of solar and wind power in the area will generate employment opportunities for local youth.

Speaking at a gram sabha (village meeting) near Pattikonda in Kurnool district, Naidu outlined his vision for transforming Rayalaseema and completing pending projects to ensure irrigation for every acre of land.

Naidu also stated that the Super Six promise, including the distribution of three free cooking gas cylinders to eligible households, will begin by Diwali. In addition, the scheme for free sand will be implemented in full from October 15. He reassured the public of his commitment to diminishing inequalities and completing key irrigation projects like Polavaram to supply water to the Krishna delta and Rayalaseema region via Srisailam.
