The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) convened a pivotal meeting on Monday at the residence of party president Jagat Prakash Nadda to deliberate on the Delhi Assembly elections. The session, which lasted about half an hour, saw the attendance of Home Minister Amit Shah, Organisation General Secretary BL Santosh, Delhi State President Virendra Sachdeva, former Delhi MP Ramesh Bidhuri, and Pravesh Verma.

Insider sources disclosed that the discussion primarily centered around addressing issues of unauthorized colonies, slums, water concerns, and electricity bills in Delhi. The meeting further focused on formulating a strategic offensive against the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) government, highlighting its corruption scandals.

Within the meeting, directives were issued to draft a road map for the Delhi Assembly elections preparation within seven days. The party aims to publicize the accomplishments of the central government and devise a robust strategy to win the assembly elections. Set for February 2025, the BJP is gearing up to contest with full vigor, aspiring to capture all 70 assembly seats in Delhi.

Strategies discussed include exposing the inefficiencies and corruption under Arvind Kejriwal's leadership and showcasing the central government's achievements to the Delhi populace. The Congress party failed to secure any seats in the 2020 Delhi assembly polls, where AAP won 62 out of 70 seats and BJP managed to win eight seats. (ANI)
