Former Jharkhand Chief Minister and BJP leader Champai Soren stated on Wednesday that the Maha Parivartan rally signifies BJP's likely triumph in the forthcoming Jharkhand elections and its formation of the government. 'The Maha Parivartan rally is a sign that BJP's victory in the coming elections and forming the government is certain,' Soren declared.

Notably, the 'Parivartan Yatra' was flagged off by Amit Shah in Jharkhand's Sahibganj district on September 20. The event was attended by Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma, Jharkhand BJP chief Babulal Marandi, and former Chief Minister Champai Soren. Champai Soren criticized the Hemant Soren-led administration for allegedly withdrawing his security, claiming that the people of Jharkhand will now protect him. 'It is up to them, now the public will protect us,' he added.

Former Union Minister and BJP leader Arjun Munda conveyed that the Parivartan Rath is witnessing an immense surge of public support. 'Our Parivartan Rath has reached Saraikela. The overwhelming public support in Saraikela reflects the significant resentment among the people. The current government has failed the people of Jharkhand, depriving them of expected benefits. Through this Parivartan Yatra, we convey the message that the youth, women, and citizens here have been deceived,' Munda commented.

Jharkhand is set to go to polls for its 81-member legislative assembly later this year. The term of the Jharkhand State Assembly expires on January 5, 2025, with elections set for 81 constituencies encompassing 44 General, 9 SC, and 28 ST seats across the state. The Election Commission of India has yet to announce the official dates for the elections. (ANI)
