The Indian Army, under Operation Sadbhavana, organized a medical camp in Kordoiguri, Tinsukia district, Assam, providing comprehensive medical services to over 900 residents. A team of five general physicians, including three from Civil PHCs and two from the Army, along with nursing staff, offered medical check-ups, consultations, and medicine distribution.

This initiative addressed immediate health needs and promoted preventive health measures, highlighting the Army's dedication to community health and nation-building. The event reinforced the Army's connection with local residents, a press release stated.

Simultaneously, on September 9, the Indian Army, Assam Rifles, and other security forces executed extensive search and recovery operations across Manipur, seizing significant quantities of arms and ammunition. Acting on specific intelligence, joint operations were conducted in several areas of Churachandpur District, resulting in the recovery of various weapons and warlike stores.

Recovered items included pistols, improvised mortars, rifles, and other arms, which were subsequently handed over to the Manipur Police. The operations underscored the effectiveness and coordination among the Indian Army, Assam Rifles, BSF, CRPF, and Manipur Police in maintaining regional security.
