AAP Unveils 6th Candidate List for Haryana Assembly Elections

The Aam Aadmi Party released its sixth list of 19 candidates for the Haryana Assembly elections, bringing the total to 89 candidates declared so far. The Aam Aadmi Party on Thursday issued its sixth list comprising 19 candidates for the upcoming Haryana Assembly elections. This latest announcement brings the total number of declared candidates to 89.

With Haryana having 90 Assembly constituencies, the AAP has just one candidate left to announce. Talks of seat-sharing with Congress were held but did not reach any agreement.

The sixth list features candidates such as OP Gujjar from Kalka, Prem Garg from Panchkula, Ketan Sharma from Ambala City, and Gurtej Singh from Mulana. Earlier on Wednesday, the AAP rolled out its fifth list of nine candidates, following the announcement of its fourth list with 21 candidates.

Prominent names in the fifth list include Anil Ranga from Narwana, Daljeet Singh from Tosham, Dr. Goipchand from Nangal, Pardeep Jutail from Pataudi, and Wasim Jaffar from Ferozepur Jhirka. The fourth list covered Raj Kaur Gill from Ambala Cantonment, Lalit Tyagi from Yamunanagar, Joga Singh from Ladwa, and several others.

Among the star campaigners announced for the Haryana Assembly Elections are Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal's wife, Sunita Kejriwal, Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann, and Delhi Ministers Atishi and Saurabh Bharadwaj. AAP leaders Sanjay Singh and Manish Sisodia are also on the list.

The last date for filing nominations is September 12. Voting for the 90-member legislative assembly in Haryana will take place on October 5, with the counting of votes scheduled for October 8. (ANI)
