Delhi Police Apprehends Three for Killing Labourer Under Masoodpur Flyover
Delhi Police has arrested three individuals for allegedly murdering a casual labourer under the Masoodpur flyover. New Delhi [India], September 11 (ANI) – Delhi Police have apprehended three suspects in connection with the murder of a casual labourer, whose body was discovered under the Masoodpur flyover on Tuesday. The deceased, identified as John Madrasi, was found on the pavement beside a tree, his shirt soaked in blood and displaying multiple stab wounds.
Upon receiving a tip-off about the body on Tuesday evening, police officials acted swiftly, dispatching a forensic team to collect evidence. Initial investigations revealed that Madrasi, around 40 years old, was a casual worker known for clearing blocked drains or gutters, and was a familiar face in the Vasant Kunj area of Southwest Delhi.
Analysis of nearby CCTV footage led police to three suspects seen fleeing the scene at approximately 6:45 pm. The suspects, Aman, Aamir, and Jeewan, were tracked down and arrested by a team led by SHO/VK South, Inspector Vipin Kumar, and ASI Hari Ram, under the supervision of ACP Vasant Kunj Satyajeet Sarin. The arrests followed revelations that a dispute over a small debt and subsequent altercation led to the fatal attack.
