Delhi Police Apprehends Three for Killing Labourer Under Masoodpur Flyover

Delhi Police has arrested three individuals for allegedly murdering a casual labourer under the Masoodpur flyover. The body, identified as John Madrasi, was discovered with stab wounds and blood stains. The suspects, Aman, Aamir, and Jeewan, were detained after local investigation and CCTV footage analysis.

New Delhi [India], September 11 (ANI) – Delhi Police have apprehended three suspects in connection with the murder of a casual labourer, whose body was discovered under the Masoodpur flyover on Tuesday. The deceased, identified as John Madrasi, was found on the pavement beside a tree, his shirt soaked in blood and displaying multiple stab wounds.

Upon receiving a tip-off about the body on Tuesday evening, police officials acted swiftly, dispatching a forensic team to collect evidence. Initial investigations revealed that Madrasi, around 40 years old, was a casual worker known for clearing blocked drains or gutters, and was a familiar face in the Vasant Kunj area of Southwest Delhi.

Analysis of nearby CCTV footage led police to three suspects seen fleeing the scene at approximately 6:45 pm. The suspects, Aman, Aamir, and Jeewan, were tracked down and arrested by a team led by SHO/VK South, Inspector Vipin Kumar, and ASI Hari Ram, under the supervision of ACP Vasant Kunj Satyajeet Sarin. The arrests followed revelations that a dispute over a small debt and subsequent altercation led to the fatal attack.
