In a heated critique on Wednesday, Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) leader Mayawati alleged that Congress, led by Rahul Gandhi, is conspiring to eliminate the reservation system. She urged marginalized communities to remain vigilant and question the Congress party's motives.

Mayawati dismissed Rahul Gandhi's clarifications on reservations as misleading. She highlighted the Congress party's failure to pass the SC/ST reservation bill during their tenure in power.

Mayawati accused Congress of making hollow promises about increasing reservation limits and failing to implement OBC and SC/ST reservations effectively. She highlighted the party's contradictory actions when in power versus in opposition, warning people to beware of such duplicity.

Rahul's recent comment in Washington, DC, highlighted the stark underrepresentation of OBCs, Dalits, and Adivasis in India. He underscored the need for a caste census to identify and address these disparities. Gandhi criticized the current financial power structures, noting that marginalized communities receive a disproportionately low share of resources.

The Congress leader reinforced that the INDIA bloc aims to defend the Constitution and supports conducting a caste census to ensure fair representation of lower castes. He condemned the monopolization of industries by a few businessmen, advocating for broader participation in India's economic life.
