Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) unveiled its second list of nine candidates for the forthcoming Haryana Assembly elections on Tuesday. The notification, issued by Sandeep Pathak, National General Secretary Organization, confirmed the candidature of Rita Bamaniya in Sadhaura, Krishan Bajaj in Thanesar, Hawa Singh in Indri, Mukhtiyar Singh Bazigar in Ratia, Bupendra Beniwal in Adampur, Chhatar Pal Singh in Barwala, Jawahar Lal in Bawal, Pravesh Mehta in Faridabad, and Abash Chandela in Tigaon.

This announcement comes shortly after BJP leaders from Haryana, Sunil Rao and Satish Yadav, joined AAP. Their induction, witnessed by AAP Haryana unit chief Sushil Gupta and Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Singh, marks a significant boost for the party. Gupta expressed optimism, stating, "They are joining AAP with strength, and I wish them a brighter future. Today, they have embraced Arvind Kejriwal's policies, and we welcome them warmly."

Highlighting Rao's familial connection to actor Rajkumar Rao, MP Sanjay Singh reiterated AAP's commitment to implementing Kejriwal's 'five guarantees' in Haryana, which include free education, free medical treatment, and employment opportunities. "Sunil Rao is a valuable addition to our party. AAP will endeavor to win every seat, realizing Delhi's successful policies in Haryana," he said.

Earlier, Gupta declared that AAP, led by Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, is emerging as a credible alternative in Haryana. He emphasized a vision for a drug-free, corruption-free state with 24-hour electricity, water, job security, women's safety, and respect for farmers. "Anyone influenced by Kejriwal's politics, including those from BJP or other parties, sees their future with AAP," he added.

The deadline for nomination submissions is September 12, followed by voting on October 5 for the 90-member legislative assembly. Results will be announced on October 8, alongside Jammu and Kashmir.
