Aramco Unveils Ambitious Digital Development Initiatives

Saudi Arabian Oil Co (Aramco) has announced new digital development initiatives, including MOUs with SambaNova Systems, Rebellions, Cerebras Systems, and FuriousAI. These initiatives aim to accelerate AI capabilities, deploy an AI supercomputer, and explore industrial generative AI solutions in collaboration with Qualcomm Technologies.

Saudi Arabian Oil Co. (Aramco) has launched several new initiatives aimed at driving digital development within the kingdom. The company has signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with SambaNova Systems to explore ways to accelerate AI capabilities and innovation across Saudi Arabia. It has also announced the deployment of an advanced AI supercomputer.

Additionally, Aramco has collaborated with Qualcomm Technologies to initiate the deployment of industrial generative AI solutions on the edge. In another move, Aramco has signed an MOU with Rebellions to explore the potential deployment of the latter's neural processing unit chips within Aramco's data centers.

Further, Aramco has entered into an MOU with Cerebras Systems and FuriousAI to explore collaboration opportunities in supercomputing and AI domains. These initiatives mark a significant push towards digital transformation and AI adoption in the region.
