The recognition celebrates their efforts in integrating Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) principles within their operations. The company has achieved significant milestones, including reducing greenhouse gas emissions and supporting community well-being.

L&T Finance Ltd. (LTF), a leading Non-Banking Financial Company (NBFC) in India, has been honored with the 'Champions of ESG' award at the Global Fintech Fest 2024 held in Mumbai. This prestigious recognition highlights the company's commitment to creating an Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG)-enabled ecosystem.

LTF's journey towards becoming an ESG-conscious organization began in 2018-19 and has since evolved by adopting sustainable practices and enhancing ESG-related disclosures. Notably, the company has reduced its greenhouse gas emissions by 18% from the previous fiscal year and aims to achieve carbon neutrality by FY35.

Additionally, LTF's efforts include the financing of over 44,000 electric vehicles, sequestering CO2 through plantations, and raising significant funds for sustainable finance projects. The company also focuses on community well-being and women's empowerment through various CSR initiatives.
