Madhya Pradesh CM Pays Tribute to Fallen Soldier in Sikkim Road Accident
Chief Minister Mohan Yadav honored soldier Pradeep Patel at Khajuraho Airport following his death in a Sikkim road accident. Patel, along with three other Indian Army personnel, lost his life on September 5. Yadav announced Rs 1 crore in financial assistance for Patel's family.

Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav on Saturday paid tribute to fallen soldier Pradeep Patel, who perished in a recent road accident in Sikkim, at Khajuraho Airport in Chhatarpur district.
Patel, along with three other Indian Army personnel, lost his life when their vehicle skidded off the road on the Silk Route in Pakyong District, Sikkim, on Thursday, September 5, Indian army officials reported.
Expressing deep grief, CM Yadav announced a financial assistance of Rs 1 crore to Patel's family, stating, 'It is a very sad incident for us, but we will always be proud of our security forces. We stand by Patel's family in this moment of sorrow.'
Pradeep Patel hailed from Hardua village in Katni district. The other deceased include W Peter from Manipur, Gursev Singh from Haryana, and K Thangapandi from Tamil Nadu. All belonged to a unit from Binnaguri, West Bengal. The vehicle veered off the road near Dalapchand Dara along Rhenock Rongli state highway.
'May the almighty provide peace to the departed souls and strength to their families,' Yadav added, as the Madhya Pradesh government offered condolences and support to the grieving family.
