Union Minister Jitendra Singh highlighted the improved security situation in Kashmir since Narendra Modi took office as Prime Minister, asserting it has enabled Congress leader Rahul Gandhi to roam the valley freely. 'It is because of PM Modi's governance that Rahul Gandhi can safely enjoy his time in Kashmir,' Singh noted.
Amit Shah, Union Minister and BJP leader, launched a scathing attack on the Congress-National Conference alliance, denouncing their manifesto that proposes dialogue with Pakistan. 'No talks with Pakistan until peace prevails,' Shah declared, accusing them of attempting to spread terrorism, revoke reservations, and restart LoC trade, which BJP opposes.
Releasing BJP's manifesto for upcoming Jammu and Kashmir elections, Shah set forth 25 promises, including enhancing women's rights, supporting youth, honoring Kashmiri Pandits, restoring temples, and eradicating terrorism. The elections will occur in three phases on September 18, 25, and October 1, covering 90 assembly constituencies, including reserved seats for SCs and STs.
