Speaking at the event, Nadda noted that his first inauguration after resuming office was at IGIMS, where he previously laid the foundation stone in 2019 alongside CM Nitish Kumar.

During his address, Nadda lauded the achievements of the Modi government in the health sector over the past ten years. He pointed out the increase in All India Medical Sciences (AIIMS) institutions from 6 to 22. Nadda also expressed gratitude to Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar for providing land for the new AIIMS in Darbhanga, which he plans to visit.

He also praised IGIMS hospital for serving patients from Bihar, Bengal, Odisha, and Nepal, and noted the establishment of 75 new super-speciality blocks nationwide, including 5 in Bihar.

CM Nitish Kumar discussed IGIMS's expansion, highlighting plans to increase beds from 770 to 2500, with a new 1200-bed super-speciality facility under construction. He reflected on the improvements in Bihar's health sector since 2005, noting the increase in patient visits and the decision to provide free medicines.

On the political front, Kumar mentioned his return to the NDA fold, acknowledging past mistakes in alliances with the RJD and Congress and pledging not to ally with them again.
