In a scathing attack on the Congress administration in Telangana, KT Rama Rao, the working president of Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS), claimed that the dark days of Congress rule have returned. Rao specifically pointed to the mounting troubles faced by farmers under the current regime.
Using social media platform X, KT Rama Rao outlined the hardships farmers are enduring, including power cuts, seed shortages, and long waits for fertilizer and loan tokens. He argued that the agriculture sector's condition has worsened significantly within just nine months of Congress's 'haphazard' governance.
Rao shared a photograph allegedly depicting farmers sleeping outside a bank in Siddipet district, awaiting loan renewal tokens. He criticized the administration for neglecting agricultural issues. Additionally, he condemned the sacking of 2,000 SC Gurukul school teachers, calling it 'highly shameful' and indicative of Congress's disregard for educational opportunities for underprivileged students.
Earlier, Rama Rao also criticized the Telangana government in light of the Union Cabinet's approval for a new semiconductor manufacturing unit in Gujarat by Kaynes Semicon Pvt Ltd, asserting that this would negatively impact Telangana's manufacturing plans.
