Turkey's President Tayyip Erdogan announced on Wednesday an initiative to strengthen ties with Egypt in the sectors of natural gas and nuclear energy. This announcement followed a meeting with Egypt's President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi in Ankara.
During a joint press conference, Erdogan indicated that both nations are committed to improving relations across various spheres such as trade, defense, health, energy, and environmental issues. Statements from both leaders underscored the renewed dedication to bilateral cooperation.
