China and South Africa, whose top leaders met in Beijing, have signed several cooperation documents focusing on trade and other key sectors, according to a joint statement released on Tuesday.

The agreements cover diverse areas including the application of a satellite navigation system, housing and settlement, and export requirements for dairy products and raw wool from South Africa to China, as per the official Xinhua news agency.

In addition to the signings, the leaders discussed ways to encourage their business communities to increase two-way investments, aimed at strengthening economic ties between the two nations.
