Oil Tanker Front Jaguar Defies Libya's Export Blockade
The oil tanker Front Jaguar was seen loading at Libya's Brega port despite a blockade that halted exports. Engineers confirmed the event, and Kpler data supported the observation. The tanker was allowed to load from storage, though the eastern-based government had ordered a shutdown of all oil production.

The 600,000-barrel oil tanker Front Jaguar was seen loading at Libya's Brega port this Wednesday, according to engineers and Kpler data, despite an existing blockade that has halted other oil exports.
Engineers confirmed that the tanker was permitted to load oil from storage, even though exports had been halted at major Libyan ports. The information has been backed by Kpler, a commodity data firm.
Notably, the eastern-based government in Libya, which is currently a divided country, has mandated a complete shutdown of oil production, raising questions about the exceptions made for Front Jaguar.
