A total of 74,108 students have secured their admissions at Delhi University for the 2024-25 academic session. Of these, 764 single girl children and 132 orphans were admitted under the supernumerary quotas.

The university released the third round of allocations on Tuesday, which began on August 31. Notably, the single-girl child quota ensures one reserved seat in each program across all DU colleges, while the orphan quota allocates one seat for both male and female students in each program.

Moreover, 1,061 candidates have been admitted under the Extra-Curricular Activities (ECA) category, and 1,648 students via the Sports category. Additionally, 2,682 students upgraded to higher preference programs, and 332 were admitted based on performance criteria.
