Addressing a gathering in Maharashtra's Latur district, Murmu expressed happiness over the initiatives like the 'Mukhyamantri Majhi Ladki Bahin Yojana' and 'Shasan Aplya Dari'. She lauded the government's efforts, noting that nearly one crore women have become Lakhpati Didis, with a significant portion hailing from Maharashtra.

Murmu also emphasized the role of financial inclusion and educational development in women's empowerment. She urged women to prioritize their health, stating, 'Only if you prosper and remain healthy, the country will develop and progress'. The event also saw Chief Minister Eknath Shinde and Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis reaffirming their commitment to women-centric schemes.
