Solar solutions provider Alpex Solar announced its ambitious expansion plans to double its photovoltaic solar module capacity to 2.4 GW by FY2025-26 on Wednesday.

The company will install a greenfield project with a 1.2 GW solar PV modules capacity on new land in Kosi Kotwan, Mathura, Uttar Pradesh. Alpex Solar also plans to foray into solar cell manufacturing at a gigawatt capacity.

The expansion, funded through internal accruals and loans, will see the company reach 2.4 GW capacity by FY2026, catering to rising demand in India and key global markets.
