Alpex Solar Doubles Down: Expands Solar Module Capacity to 2.4 GW

Alpex Solar plans to double its photovoltaic solar module capacity to 2.4 GW by FY2025-26. The company will install a new 1.2 GW solar PV module capacity at its new plant in Kosi Kotwan, Mathura, and explore solar cell manufacturing. The expansion will be funded through internal accruals and loans.

Solar solutions provider Alpex Solar announced its ambitious expansion plans to double its photovoltaic solar module capacity to 2.4 GW by FY2025-26 on Wednesday.

The company will install a greenfield project with a 1.2 GW solar PV modules capacity on new land in Kosi Kotwan, Mathura, Uttar Pradesh. Alpex Solar also plans to foray into solar cell manufacturing at a gigawatt capacity.

The expansion, funded through internal accruals and loans, will see the company reach 2.4 GW capacity by FY2026, catering to rising demand in India and key global markets.
