Tripura Chief Minister Manik Saha has announced the release of an additional Rs 10 crore for flood relief, supplementing the previously sanctioned Rs 2 crore. The significant increase aims to aid the flood-affected residents effectively.

A broad range of contributors—from banks and social organizations to individuals—have stepped up to support the Chief Minister's Relief Fund, according to the Chief Minister's Office. This financial assistance reflects a strong humanitarian response from the community, answering the call of Chief Minister Saha.

Notable contributions include Rs 25 lakh from the State Bank of India, Rs 50,000 from Minister Tinku Roy, and Rs 63,000 from Speaker Biswa Bandhu Sen. Other significant donors are National Law University with Rs 70,000, All Tripura Community Health Officers with Rs 20,000, and the Ekadanta Social Organisation contributing Rs 1 lakh.
