Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Monday extended his heartfelt birthday greetings to Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan, wishing him a long and healthy life. Shah shared his wishes on social media platform X, praising Kalyan's dedicated service to Andhra Pradesh's development and welfare.

Actor Chiranjeevi, who is also Kalyan's brother, shared a nostalgic photograph featuring himself, his wife, and a young Pawan Kalyan. Chiranjeevi lauded Kalyan's leadership and expressed hope for positive changes under his guidance, describing him as a leader with ethics, honesty, and stability that the people of Andhra Pradesh need.

Pawan Kalyan, who is the Janasena Party (JSP) president and Pithapuram MLA, assumed the role of Deputy Chief Minister on June 19. He oversees portfolios such as Panchayat Raj and Rural Development, Environment, Forests, Science and Technology, and Rural Water Supply. Kalyan took oath as a member of the Andhra Legislative Assembly on June 12, following the Andhra Pradesh Assembly elections which his party contested in alliance with the BJP and Telugu Desam Party.
