Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M K Stalin extended his greetings on the inaugural day of the Global Muthamizh Murugan Conference through video conferencing on Saturday, held in Palani in the Dindigul district. CM Stalin reaffirmed the Dravidian government's commitment to benefiting all faiths while never obstructing any religious belief.

'Everyone has different beliefs. The Dravidian government has never been a hindrance to those beliefs and is a government that can benefit all faiths. The Dravidian Model is based on the concept of everything to everyone,' CM Stalin said. He also praised Hindu Religious and Charitable Endowments Minister P K Sekar Babu for organizing the two-day event aimed at gathering devotees and advancing the philosophy of Lord Murugan.

'It was only after Shekharbabu became the Minister of the Hindu Religious and Charitable Endowments Department that the department has been working brilliantly. I gave him this department to take care of the temple, but he stays in the temple and performs the services,' CM Stalin added. He advocated for equality, emphasizing that Tamil should be prioritized in temple worship and that there should be no caste-based discrimination within temple precincts.

Ministers Sekar Babu and R Sakkarapani inaugurated the two-day 'Global Muthamizh Murugan Conference.' The Shri Arulmigu Dhandayuthapani Swamy Temple in Palani is adorned with colorful lights for the occasion. The event, held at one of Lord Muruga's six sacred sites, is attracting lakhs of attendees, including VIPs, scholars, devotees, and the general public from around the world. Entry is free and the conference features seminars, photo exhibitions, and 3D exhibitions.
