Gensol Engineering Secures Major 16MW Rooftop Solar Project in Madhya Pradesh
Gensol Engineering has been awarded a 16 MW rooftop solar project by a textile firm in Madhya Pradesh, marking a significant repeat order under its commercial and industrial segment. The project, featuring high-efficiency bi-facial solar modules, is expected to be completed within six months.

In a significant move, Gensol Engineering announced on Wednesday that it has secured a 16 megawatt rooftop solar project from a textile company based in Madhya Pradesh.
This repeat order falls under Gensol's commercial and industrial segment, focusing on engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) services. This project will leverage high-efficiency bi-facial solar modules capable of absorbing sunlight from both sides.
According to a company statement, Gensol Engineering has received the official Letter of Award (LOA) for the turnkey EPC rooftop solar project. Highlighting its scale, Shilpa Urhekar, CEO of Solar EPC (India) at Gensol, noted that this will be one of India's largest rooftop solar undertakings, covering a substantial rooftop area.
