Goa Chief Minister Pramod Sawant has urged banks to enhance their credit outlay for exporters, emphasizing the critical role banks play in achieving credit targets set in the Annual Credit Plan.
Speaking at the 126th Goa State Level Bankers Committee meeting, Sawant praised the banks for their significant contributions to the state's economic development. He urged continued support, particularly in education and infrastructure investment credit.
Sawant also highlighted the dependence of social security schemes on the banking sector and expressed optimism about the coordinated efforts leading to a 'Viksit Bharat, Viksit Goa'.
