Goa CM Pramod Sawant Urges Banks to Boost Credit Outlay for Exporters

Goa Chief Minister Pramod Sawant has called on banks to increase their credit outlay to support exporters. He made this appeal during the 126th Goa State Level Bankers Committee meeting, commending the banks for their role in economic development and expressing confidence in their future contributions.

Speaking at the 126th Goa State Level Bankers Committee meeting, Sawant praised the banks for their significant contributions to the state's economic development. He urged continued support, particularly in education and infrastructure investment credit.

Sawant also highlighted the dependence of social security schemes on the banking sector and expressed optimism about the coordinated efforts leading to a 'Viksit Bharat, Viksit Goa'.
