Puducherry CM and Education Minister Laud Teachers on Eve of Teacher's Day

Puducherry Chief Minister N Rangasamy and Education Minister A Namassivayam extended their greetings to teachers ahead of Teacher's Day. Puducherry Chief Minister N Rangasamy on Wednesday extended his greeting to teachers on the eve of Teacher's Day.

In an official release, he emphasized that teachers play a pivotal role in molding good citizens and are held in high esteem, second only to parents.

Rangasamy stressed that the dedication shown by educators in shaping society deserves respect, and celebrating Teacher's Day is a way for society to show its gratitude to the teaching community.

He further highlighted that teachers' selfless service lays the foundation for a progressive and ethical society.

In his remarks, Puducherry Home and Education Minister A Namassivayam also praised the irreplaceable role of teachers in society.

Namassivayam noted that Teacher's Day not only honors the teaching community but also pays tribute to former President Dr S Radhakrishnan, whose birth anniversary is celebrated as this special day.
