Bulandshahr (Uttar Pradesh) [India], August 21: In a tragic turn of events, T.P. Singh, the Superintendent of Post Offices in Bulandshahr, allegedly died by suicide on Wednesday following a CBI raid at the main post office regarding a corruption probe. Singh took this drastic step in Aligarh, his home district, after enduring hours of questioning by the CBI.

Singh, who had been serving in Bulandshahr since 2021, left a suicide note detailing the reasons behind his decision. The letter, dated August 21, 2024, was addressed to the Senior Superintendent of Aligarh Police and named several colleagues for allegedly harassing and exerting undue pressure on him. "There has been constant pressure to get work done and there have been several complaints," the letter read.

The note explicitly blamed certain individuals for Singh's death. "I am fed up with the above-mentioned people after being constantly pressured by them," it added. The CBI seized multiple important documents during the raid, and Singh was interrogated until 4 a.m. Subsequently, he reportedly posted the suicide note on WhatsApp, where it has since gone viral after being shared across various groups.
