In a forward-looking initiative, the Indian Army held a formal interaction, Shaurya Sampravah 1.0, at the Manekshaw Centre in Delhi. Chief of Army Staff General Upendra Dwivedi spearheaded the event, marking a significant step towards utilizing veteran experience to shape the Army's future and contribute to national growth.

General Upendra Dwivedi expressed profound gratitude to the veterans for their continued service. Chief of Defence Staff General Anil Chauhan noted the importance of integrating veterans into the Army's planning and strategy. Their experience is an invaluable asset that can elevate the effectiveness of the Indian Armed Forces. Informal interactions at the event fostered camaraderie and reinforced the shared mission of national service. The central feature was a briefing on the 'Decade of Transformation' roadmap, outlining the Army's vision for modernization, technological innovation, and operational enhancement over the next decade.

The event also highlighted the Indian Army's ongoing modernization, focusing on the absorption of niche technology revolutionizing inventory and capabilities. Discussions emphasized the Army's commitment to military innovations, providing insights into refining systems, processes, and functions to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

'Role of the Indian Army in Viksit Bharat 2047' was discussed, outlining strategic contributions to nation-building. Veterans were informed about initiatives in human resource management, veterans affairs, and the Agnipath Scheme. The Army's commitment to progressive reforms for the nation's and its betterment was emphasized.

Designed to be interactive, the event saw veterans actively participating in discussions. Their feedback will be crucial in refining transformation initiatives, ensuring that their collective wisdom drives the Army's future success. General Dwivedi highlighted the vital role veterans play in nation-building, encouraging their active engagement with ongoing government initiatives.

Shaurya Sampravah 1.0 also allowed veterans to interact with General Officers Commanding-in-Chief of all Army commands, deepening their understanding of the Army's operational landscape and strategic priorities. This reinforced the Army's commitment to veteran welfare.
