BJP spokesperson Shehzad Poonawalla launched a scathing attack on Leader of Opposition Rahul Gandhi on Monday, accusing him of creating panic and instability in India with his response to the Hindenburg report. Poonawalla claimed that Gandhi's agenda is to orchestrate a Bangladesh-type situation in India.

Poonawalla argued that the Hindenburg report is a well-orchestrated hit job filled with contradictions and falsehoods, aimed at undermining one individual and one party. Despite the Supreme Court's rejection of the report and its endorsement of the SEBI probe, Gandhi and his ecosystem continue to ignore these facts, Poonawalla added.

The BJP leader also alleged that the Congress is quick to adopt foreign reports often based on falsehoods. He questioned Gandhi's relationship with such reports and suggested that Gandhi's only agenda is to destabilize the economy. Poonawalla's comments follow Gandhi's remarks on the alleged compromise of SEBI's integrity and the American short seller's accusations against the Adani Group.
