Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav on Thursday attended an Interactive Session on Investment Opportunities in Madhya Pradesh being held in Bengaluru and invited industrialists to invest in the state. The two-day interactive session on investment opportunities began on August 7. CM Yadav also interacted with industrialists on the occasion.

"Bengaluru is a very good place from the investment point of view. People from here should also invest in Madhya Pradesh and also stay connected with Karnataka. I am happy to say that many people are working in this direction, who have their business here as well as in MP," CM Yadav told reporters after the event in Bengaluru. "Many industries prepare goods here and supply it there (MP). In view of the future, there are many possibilities in different sectors like IT, energy, mining etc in Madhya Pradesh. I met many investors and industrialists, everyone has shown a lot of enthusiasm. The MP government is ready to support in all possible ways. We all together should take Bengaluru, Karnataka as well as Madhya Pradesh forward. I have come to Bengaluru to open new avenues for the state," the CM said.

Several proposals for the investment in Madhya Pradesh have been received and industrialists are ready to invest in the state on a larger scale, the CM said. "A regional Industry Conclave is going to be held in Gwalior on August 28 and I am inviting people to participate in the conclave. We are visiting across India for the investment opportunities in Madhya Pradesh and we are receiving favourable offers from everywhere," he added.

"We are assuring that all types of infrastructure in Madhya Pradesh are quite good. There is no problem of law and order in the state. We are energy surplus and there are various other favourable conditions in the state," the CM said. The Interactive Sessions are being held as a pre-event of the "Invest Madhya Pradesh-Global Investor Summit-2025". GIS-2025 is proposed to be organised in Bhopal on February 7 and 8 next year.

The main objective of the GIS-2025 is to establish Madhya Pradesh as a favourable investment destination and to include it among the leading states of the country by highlighting the capabilities, abundant resources and favourable industrial environment of the state. (ANI)
