The Uttarakhand Assembly's monsoon session is set to begin on August 21 and will last until August 23, according to an official notification. The House will convene at 11 am on August 21 in Vidhan Sabha Bhawan, Bharadisen, Gairsain, the state's summer capital.

The official notification from the Uttarakhand Legislative Assembly Secretariat states, "Hon'ble Governor, Uttarakhand has summoned the Fifth Vidhan Sabha of Uttarakhand to meet at 11:00 A.M. on Wednesday, the 21st August, 2024 in Vidhan Sabha Bhavan, Bhararisain, Gairsain, District Chamoli for its Second Session of the year, 2024." Earlier this Wednesday, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami participated in a meeting of the Secretary Committee at the Secretariat.

CM Dhami is the first chief minister to join a Secretary Committee meeting, discussing numerous state-related topics for three hours. The Chief Minister highlighted the vital role of secretaries in policy-making and implementing public welfare schemes effectively. Dhami stressed collective efforts in enhancing the state's development and improving the living standards of the populace. He also urged for a comprehensive action plan to ensure the successful execution of governmental schemes, prioritizing national and public interests.
