In a significant anti-narcotics operation, the Anti-Terrorist Squad (ATS) of Gujarat arrested two individuals for manufacturing MD drugs in a Bhiwandi flat, Maharashtra. The ATS seized 792 kilograms of liquid MD drugs valued at Rs 800 crore, police officials announced on Wednesday.
The arrested suspects have been identified as Mohammad Yunus and Mohammad Adil. This operation is linked to a previous drug bust executed on July 18, in which authorities confiscated 35 kg of MD drugs, including 4 kg in hard form and 31 kg in liquid form. At that time, two individuals were also apprehended.
Authorities have launched a detailed investigation to gather further information about this extensive drug network. Additional details are awaited as the investigation unfolds.
